Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements

• Be a young lady between the ages of 13 and 18.
• Be a United States citizen.
• Meet residency requirements set forth by the Miss American Organization, the Miss Kentucky Organization and local organizations
• Must be enrolled in an accredited public, private or home schooling program.
• Be of good moral character
• Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local or state program in which you compete.

• Private Interview – 30%
• Talent/HERStory – 20%
• Health & Fitness – 20%
• Evening Gown - 20%
• On Stage Conversation – 10%

In accordance with Miss America Teen rules and at the discretion of the Miss Kentucky Organization, fair & festival/high school competition winners may participate in the state competition if they meet entry rules and eligibility criteria.
